Nawaz urges Baloch separatists to quit militancy

AWARAN: Nawaz Sharif, Prime Minister of Pakistan, has urged the Baloch separatists to quit the way of militancy for there lies nothing in it. He said that the estranged Baloch people are our brothers and we do not have any complain from them – ARY News reports.PM Nawaz claimed that earthquake-hit Awaran will be transformed into a model district and the houses demolished due to the tremor will be reconstructed.

The Prime Minister said that Awaran is as important as Karachi and Islamabad, and the destruction caused by the earthquake last month, greatly saddened him upon the loss of lives and property here. He added that Awaran will be provided electricity for 24 hours through the solar-energy projects and power will also be supplied roud the clock to the agricultural tube wells here.

He announced that Rs 5 lac will be given to the families of the deceased whereas 1.5 lac to the injured during the earthquake.

The Prime Minister also praised the role of the Balochistan Government and Pakistan Army for the rehabilitation of the tremor-affectees.
