Pop singer Nazia Hassan created quite a buzz when she first appeared in the Bollywood movie Qurbani singing the popular song “Aap Jaisa Koi.”
Hassan started her career in music at the young age of 10 and became a sensation across India and Pakistan through her successful singing career spanning over 25 years singing popular songs such as ‘Disco Dewane’, ‘Dosti’ and ‘Dum Dum Dee Dee’ and ‘Aankhe Milane Wale’.
Known as the ‘Queen of Pop’ in South Asia, Hassan became one of the subcontinent’s most popular celebrities. She, along with her brother Zoheb, went on to sell over 65 million records worldwide.
Interestingly, an old interview of the singer, which was recently posted on social media has gone viral and evoked nostalgia and fond memories among her fans.

Many social media user shared it along with their memories of the singer and commented how young she was when the video was shot. Many also went on to say how her death was a huge loss for the music industry.
