Rangers man die, five injured in Nazimabad twin blasts
KARACHI: An injured personnel of paramilitary Rangers succembed to his injuries after twin blasts rock Karachi's Nazimabad area injuring six persons including two Rangers personnel, ARY News reports.
The injured were taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medical treatment, where an injured personnel, Atiqur Rahman, succumbed to his injuries.
The first blast took place at a security checkpost under the Nazimabad Bridge near the Matric board office.
The second explosion occurred at Nazimabad No. 7 just minutes after the first blast.
Law Enforcing Agencies (LEAs) and Bomb Dispoal Squad (BDS) arrived at the scenes and started the investigation of the incidents.
According to SSP Aamir Farooqi, both of the explosives were planted.
