Electronic Arts has revealed the next Need for Speed game called Payback and the game will be out on November 10 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows 10.

Ben Walke, Global Manager, Community Engagement at EA made the announcement in blog post recalling how “we love the smell of burnt rubber lingering through the streets, a remnant of the activities that were carried out during the early hours of the morning.”

Developed by the Swedish studio Ghost Games, Need for Speed Payback has a single player campaign that follows the exploits of former street racer Tyler Morgan.

After being double-crossed and forced into exile, it’s time for Payback. Tyler must rebuild his crew, win an impossible race and bring down The House, the cartel that has a grip over the city’s casinos, criminals and cops.

Tyler and the crew will find themselves in the middle of some of the most action-packed, explosive events in Need for Speed history.

It wouldn’t be Need for Speed without killer cars. The cars in Need for Speed Payback come in one of five classes – Race, Drift, Off-Road, Drag and Runner.

Players can visually customise their cars and also win and buy the hottest aftermarket parts and craft the perfect driving machine. They can also discover an abandoned car, breathe life into it raising from scrap into one-of-a-kind supercar.

Fortune Valley is an action packed playground. Players can race through the glamorous and gritty districts of Silver Rock City, tear up the arid Liberty Desert, drift way up Mount Providence and defy deadly drops all over Silver Canyon.

Payback also sees the return of intense cop chases as players, with rhinos and helicopters in their arsenal, will have to push themselves and their car to the limit to outrun the local police department.

Furthermore, the all new Autolog allows players to push their friend’s best scores from the entire campaign and world activities.

Players will see the first look of Need for Speed Payback at EA Play starting June 10 in Los Angeles.
