NEPRA approves 1.64 paisas per unit cut for Karachi

ISLAMABAD: The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has announced the reduction of 1.64 paisas per unit in electricity tariffs of K-Electric customers under monthly fuel adjustment, ARY News reported.

According to the statement issued by NEPRA, the reduction was made under the fuel adjustment for the month of November.

As per details disclosed by K-Electric, production cost for the month of October has witnessed total reduction of about Rs. 2 billion.

The reduction will be implemented on the billing of next month, which will be applicable on customers of K-Electric (previously KESC) only.
