Network suspension: Mobile companies suffer loss of more than two billion rupees

Karachi: Mobile companies suffered loss of more than two billion rupees after Cellular services were suspended by the government on 9th and 10th of Muharram keeping in view of possible terror threats, ARY News reported.

The suspensions of cellular services in several cities of the country caused a loss of more than two billion rupees to mobile companies in the country, whereas, a loss of 29 crore rupees was recorded in national exchequer.

Pakistan telecom Authority ordered the mobile companies to suspend the cellular services in view of terrorism due to which cellular services in 80 cities were suspended.
