TOP NEWS

LONDON: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain, in an address, has said that he never withdrew from his stance, ARY News reports.

MQM Chief Altaf Hussain, while addressing the sit-ins in 14 cities via telephone after his release, said he never begged for the release for his party workers then how can he plead for his own release. He added that he will always speak the truth.

“I have faith in the British law and I am hopeful that I will receive justice from the British judicial system”, Hussain said.

While lifting the suspension of Raabta Committee members, Altaf Hussain said that the party should end the sit-ins held to show solidarity with him.

He also thanked Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Asif Ali Zardari, Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chairman Allama Tahir-ul-Qadri and other political figures for supporting MQM during the critical phase.

On the other hand, MQM announced to end the solidarity sit-ins held to show solidarity with Altaf Hussain.
