With new price cut petrol becomes cheaper than CNG

The new price of petroleum will be Rs 70.29 per litre now. The petrol will now be cheaper than Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), which is being sold  at Rs 71.50 per kg in Sindh and Punjab and Rs 76.35  in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.

The new price will come into force from February 1st.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif announced recent cut in POL prices in a press conference here.

The high speed diesel price has been slashed by Rs 5.62 bringing the price down to Rs80.61 per litre.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has announced that the petroleum prices are being reduced by Rs7.99 per liter, HBOC Rs 11.82 per liter, kerosene oil Rs 10.48 , light diesel oil Rs 9.56 and high speed diesel oil by Rs 5.62 per liter.

Prime Minister Sharif said that he wants the people to receive not just cheap petrol but cheaper electricity as well.
