LAHORE: Lahore Police in order to deal with youngsters at the new year eve has completed all its preparations, 3000 cops will be deployed on security duty on the new year night, whereas the DIG Operations says that cases will be registered against the ones causing disturbance and unrest – ARY News reports.
According to details, DIG Operations Rana Abdul Jabbar told on Monday that a security plan has been devised pertaining to new year eve, cops with batons will be deployed at Mall Road, Gulberg and Main Boulevard and unrest will not be tolerated at all.
He appealed the parents to advise their children not to involve in such activities.
Meanwhile in Karachi, roads leading to the beach have also been decided to be blocked by putting containers.
Authorities have banned pillion riding, while management of different hotels have also been advised to keep shut on the new year eve.
Moreover, the people of Karachi have also been deprived of CNG on this occasion.
