Nigeria to get 10 trainer aircraft from Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Air Forces (PAF) on Friday announced to have signed an agreement for the sale of 10 Super Mushshak Aircraft to Nigerian Air Force.

“The contract signing ceremony was held in Abuja (Nigeria), where Air Vice Marshal Iya Ahmed Abdullahi and Air Marshal Arshad Malik, Chairman Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) signed the contract,” said PAF Spokesman Air Commodore Syed Muhammad Ali.

The Pak-Nigeria deal would further strengthen PAC’s status as a top-class aviation industry producing the supersonic JF-17 Thunder and Super Mushshak trainer aircraft.

The agreement includes operational training and technical support to the Nigerian Air Force.

According to the Spokesman, Pakistan Air Force would entirely set up this facility in the shortest possible time.

He added that the latest contract with the Nigerian Air Force would not only open new avenues for export of aviation equipment to overseas countries but also help in producing revenue for the country.

Super Mushshak Aircrafts is already in service with Saudi Arabia, Oman, Iran and South Africa.
