KARACHI: Federal Interior Minister, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has expressed his determination that the Karachi Operation will be continued and the names of arrested suspects will be announced within 24 hours – ARY News reports.
Addressing a press conference here in the evening on Thursday, Chaudhry Nisar illustrated that a 5 member committee is being formed headed by the Chief Secretary Sindh in order to make the operation transparent and undisputed.
He added that the authorities want to move on to the third stage of Karachi Operation speedily, so that peace could be restored in the metropolis and the financial hub of Pakistan.
Nisar assured that officials of none of the agencies will arrest the suspects, while in plain clothes. He also stressed on the need of strengthening coordination among security forces and intelligence agencies (IAs).
The Interior Minister further mentioned that Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has not demanded for the removal of any official.
