ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Chaudary Nisar Ali Khan has denied any decision about transferring administrative control of NADRA to Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), ARY News reported.

Nisar said that some people are trying to create circumstances for mid-term elections through premeditated conspiracy. He said that government is agree to introduce biometric system in Local Government elections and will support every effort of opposition for fair and transparent elections.

While speaking on the occasion, Chairman of PTI, Imran Khan said that he has reservations about other constituencies but they opted for four as they accepted results of general elections. He said he has not talked about mid-term elections and wants the Government to complete its mandated term.

Meanwhile, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that administrative measures of NADRA cannot be transferred to ECC, which is an independent department.
