Nisar 'backs' Rangers actions in Karachi

Talking to media here, Chaudhry Nisar said Rangers have been given powers in Karachi under the Anti-Terrorism Act, adding that all security institutions are highly active and terrorism will be rooted out from the country.

Speaking about the Imran Farooq murder case, he said, “We are in contact with the British authorities and the Scotland Yard requested for granting access to last suspect arrested in the case after the Eid”.

Commenting on much-discussed verdict of the Judicial Commission on electoral rigging, the minister suggested Tehreek-i-Insaf to ‘learn from it’ and that the Supreme Court revealed facts before the nation after a thorough probe.
