Nisar chairs law and order meeting post Islamabad Blast
ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has presided over an important law and order meeting, at which different affairs pertaining to Islamabad Bomb Blast were discussed by the officials – ARY News reports.
The Interior Minister ordered the local administration to take over the administrative responsibilities of the Islamabad Vegetable and Fruit Market, and directed the law enforcement agencies (LEAs) to devise a comprehensive security plan of the locality.
Chaudhry Nisar further advised the authorities to mark the ins and outs of the federal capital and install security cameras there.
Moreover, he urged for speedy registration of slums located within and around Islamabad city.
Earlier today, a massive blast at the Islamabad Fruit Market had claimed 23 lives, whilst several others were injured. Banned organization United Baloch Army (UBA) claimed the responsibility of the bomb blast, referring to it as a reaction of ongoing military offensive in Balochistan.
