Nisar feels deserted on inquiry into ‘fabricated’ news

ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has decided to dissociate himself from inquiry into the controversial and fabricated news of local English daily which is being deemed as a threat to national security, ARY News reported.

Chaudhry Nisar reportedly feels deserted on inquiry into the fabricated news. Upon irresponsible behavior of his own party leaders, he has decided to separate himself from investigation into particulars of the story as to who fed the news and why.

Sources said the interior minister will soon inform Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif about his decision. They said when Nisar embarked on the journey of probe into the case, he felt abandoned.

This should be noted that journalist Cyrial Almeida of a local English daily few days back published a news which has been termed by the interior minister as stance of our enemy. The news is claimed by the journalist to have properly cross-checked. Later, he said the news was based on assumptions.

The question of concern for the government is that who fed this news to the journalist.
