Nisar having strained terms with Opposition as well as PMLN: Khursheed

LAHORE: Opposition Leader in the National Assembly, Syed Khursheed Shah has said that the Government is confused about negotiating with Taliban, while it has also not controlled inflation. He added that the Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan not only has strained relations with the Opposition, but also with his own party – ARY News reports.

Talking to media after a ceremony here on Monday, Khursheed Shah said that PMLN and PTI had made loud claims at the time of General Elections and Taliban also supported their stance, but both the parties have understood now.

Commenting on Opposition's role in the National Assembly, he stated that Opposition means only opposition and there is nothing like 'friendly', however PPP wants to grant space to the Government for resolving issues.

He added that the Interior Minister has strained terms not only with the Opposition, but also with his own party.

The Opposition Leader said that the Government could not control inflation so far, protest is a democratic right of PTI, yet he inquired the PTI Chairman that are the citizens getting commodities on cheaper rates there in Peshawar.

Speaking about privatization campaign, Shah clarified that PPP will neither let the national institutions sold out at throwaway prices, nor will it allow their privatization.
