ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan will hold a press conference on Sunday in Punjab House, the spokesman for Interior Ministry said in a statement today.
It seems that the interior minister has finally decided to open up and clear the air about his position in his party.
Some reports suggest that he has developed severe differences with his party head Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif over the issue of Panama Leaks case and he wants the PM to step down as prime minister.
Nisar, who is known for speaking his mind, has adopted silence in the aftermath of the Panama case Joint Investigation Team (JIT)’s submission of its final report in the Supreme Court.
The PML-N stalwart has also not attended the recent meetings and wants the party to elect a new leader of the house.
