RAIWIND: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif at his residence in Raiwind on Thursday, ARY News reports.
Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar briefed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in detail on the process of dialogue with Taliban. They also discussed the future strategy for the peace talks with militants.
According to sources, they also discussed the opposition's reaction over the proposal of including military officials in the negotiating team.
Prime Minister Sharif also discussed with Nisar about the representation of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government in the negotiating team.
The prime minister also summoned Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif during the meeting.
Chief of Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F) Pir Pagara, an ally of the government, also reached Raiwind for consultations.
