Nisar rejects reports of Qaim Ali Shah’s sacking

Talking to media in Larkana, the minister said the Pakistan People’s Party wanted to hold local government elections in the province and discussions with Mutahidda Qaumi Movement were underway in this regard.

He said the PPP was not bothered whether the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf held its rally in Larkana.

The PPP leader said those staging sit-ins in Islamabad had accepted their defeat when they winded up their protest.

He said the next general elections would be held in 2018.
