Nisar seeks aid from Siraj to tackle political unrest

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Interior Minister, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has telephoned the ameer of Jamat e Islami (JI), Siraj ul Haq and exchanged views with him on the current political scenario of the country, ARY News reported.

The Interior Minister requested the JI ameer to aid the Government in dealing with current political unrest in the state. He urged Siraj ul Haq to play role in normalizing the tensed political scenario of the state.

Earlier, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan had also made a telephonic contact with the chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI), in order to persuade him to refrain from the long march against the government.

The PTI chief during the conversation, made it clear to the Federal Interior Minister that the long march will take place at all cost and PTI is not going to back out from it.
