Nisar taken on task for inviting Taliban to play 'cricket'

ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has been taken on task by the Opposition, as it submits an adjournment motion against him for inviting Taliban to play a cricket match – ARY News reports.

According to details, opposition members said that the Interior Minister by inviting Taliban for playing a cricket match, has done injustice to the martyrs and their families. Opposition members also submitted an adjournment motion against Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan over his statement.

Meanwhile, bills demanding the Government to declare regional languages as national language, security of the basic rights for children and to part Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University from PIMS Hospital were also tabled in today's session of the National Assembly.

Earlier, Taliban had also turned down the offer of Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan to play a cricket match, saying that none of the Taliban members are interested in playing cricket.

Yesterday, Nisar had invited Taliban to play cricket, saying members of the militant group were avid viewers of the matches played by Pakistan team.
