Nisar visits red zone, observes security arrangements

ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has visited the red zone of Islamabad and observed security arrangements over there, while the Information Minister, Pervez Rasheed has warned that after the verdict of the Supreme Court (SC), the law will take its own path, ARY News reported.

According to details, security in Islamabad’s red zone has been put on red-alert, while additional contingents of the law enforcement agencies (LEAs) have also been deployed, in order to prevent any untoward incident.

Chaudhry Nisar himself visited the red zone and observed the security arrangements over there.

Meanwhile, Information Minister Pervez Rasheed said that after the SC’s orders of vacating the Constitution Avenue, the law will take its own path.

Earlier, Chaudhry Nisar had chaired a high-level meeting that pondered upon possible results of moving out of the marchers from the Constitution Avenue.

The meeting had decided to execute the orders of the apex court and to be prepared for dealing with any kind of emergency.

Nisar had expressed his hopes that soon all the issues will be resolved peacefully. He had said that the negotiations process is continued in positive direction.

He had also expressed his determination to restore the writ of the state, in any case.
