Nisar vows to bring peace in tribal areas

KARACHI: Federal Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan has said that the government is trying to bring peace and stability through dialogue, ARY News reported.

While expressing his views during the meeting with a seven-member delegation of MNAs of Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) in Islamabad on Thursday, Chaudhary Nisar said that the negotiation process would be conducted through tribal traditions in which tribal leadership and groups will be invited.

The Minister sought the support of tribal elders and elected representatives to defeat the aims of insurgents and militants.

Nisar condemned the attack on Pakistan Army that was conducted on December 19 and termed military action as the answer to those attacks.

The MNAs explained Interior Minister about the problems of their concerned constituencies and said that the people of tribal areas wants peace and prosperity.

They requested the government to bring peace and development in the tribal areas and to eliminate the violence from the region. They reiterated their full support to the government in its efforts for peace through dialogue.
