No sacrifice greater than offering one's life, organs for state: COAS
RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Raheel Sharif has said that the troops getting injured while defending the state are heroes and the nation is proud of them – ARY News reports.
During his visit to the Armed Forces Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine here on Monday, the Army Chief stated that no sacrifice can be greater than rendering one's life or body parts for the sake of homeland.
He praised the sacrifices and morale of the soldiers who injured during the War on Terror and mentioned that the Pakistan Army is well aware of their sacrifices.
General Raheel Sharif expressed his determination that the military will leave no stone unturned for improving the way of living of such troops.
On this occasion, officials of the institute also briefed the COAS about its rehabilitation program.
Moreover, the Army Chief also witnessed different departments of the institute.
