‘No talks held with MQM on new provinces’

TOP NEWS

The Spokesperson of the PM House said that MQM delegates did not discuss the formation of new provinces in the country, with the prime minister. He added that the media reports suggesting so are all baseless and part of negative propaganda.

The Spokesperson clarified that there was no such issue discussed, nor did the MQM members talk about the formation of new administrative units in the country.

Earlier today, MQM delegation headed by Dr Farooq Sattar had called on the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and conveyed him their reservations with the PPP-led Sindh Government.

They had informed the PM about differences with the Pakistan People’s Party in Sindh over mega projects of Karachi.

“The PPP is not giving heed to projects of Karachi, leading to sense of deprivation among the citizens,” the MQM delegation had told the PM.
