ISLAMABAD: The declaration of assets and other belongings of political leaders kept making headlines for one reason or the other, but nomination papers of over some 50 bigwigs have also revealed their second marriages, which were under wraps till now.
The polygamous politicians include many prominent figures who had remained mum over their second marriages.
According to reports, these renowned political figures include former Chief Minister of Punjab Shehbaz Sharif and his son Hamza Shehbaz, as well as former Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique.

Similarly the report also claims that Arshad Vohra, Pir Amin, Qaisar Mehmood, Rana Mubashar are also among those who are married twice.
It has been reported that the politicians have revealed undisclosed aspects of their personal lives for the sake of transparency for voters.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader and former minister of railways Khawaja Saad Rafique was among the first politicians to become a cynosure on social media after he reportedly acknowledged his second marriage in his nomination papers.
The copy of the nomination papers of the former railways minister also went viral on the social media showing the written statement of Mr. Rafique confirming his marital bond with television news anchor Dr Shafaq Hira this year.
