North Waziristan airstrikes: Foreign and key militants were killed
MIRANSHAH: During the security forces attack of May 21 at militants’ hideouts in North Waziristan, several foreign activists including key terrorists were killed, ARY News reported.
According to sources, the airstrikes by Pakistan Air Force (PAF) in 'Maachis Camp' of Miranshah on May 21 killed some main militant commanders including Abu Ahmed of Uzbekistan , mastermind of suicide attacks Sabir, local militant commander Gulmand and Jihadyaar.
Earlier, on May 21, PAF jets pounded several militant hideouts in different areas of North Waziristan Agency.
In the airstrikes, 60 militants were killed, while more than 30 were injured and huge quantity of ammunitions was also destroyed during forces' action, ISPR said.
The ISPR further stated that slain militants included the ones involved in suicide bombings and attacks on security forces in FATA, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Karachi.
