SOCHI: Norway is still on top of the medals table of the Sochi Winter Olympics as exhilarating contests of Alpine Skiing, Figure Skating, Snowboarding and Speed Skating were held here in Sochi on Sunday, ARY News reports.
Norway leads the Olympics with seven medals in total followed by United States of America and Canada.
Russia bagged their first gold medal as Evgeni Plushenko and Julia Lipnitskaia won the free skates competition. Canda stood second whereas Italy took the third spot in the contest.
The host team also added as bronze medal to their tally as Olga Graf stood first in the Women's speedskating 3000 metres.
German skier Felix Loch won the men's Luge competition. His German team mate Georg Hackl came second whereas Italy's Armin Zoeggeler was third.
