Talking to media after team practice, Hafeez said Pakistan A’s comprehensive 153-run win against Australia ahead of first test has restored the confidence of team.
He said Pakistan team is capable of defeating Australia although they [Team Australia] have adjusted with the playing conditions of UAE.
Speaking about his bowling action, Hafeez said that he was confident about his bowling action despite being reported during an Indian domestic league game last month.
“Nothing is on my mind over my bowling action”, he added.
The all-rounder further said “When I was warned over my action (in India) I bowled in the next game and there were no problems and I have also reviewed my action in the national academy in Lahore with Saqlain (Mushtaq) and as per the rules it’s cleared.”
Hafeez said he has been bowling with the same action for 11 years.
Hafeez said “It didn’t look good, missing the one-days but it’s gone now and we, as a team, look forward to the Tests and know that we have the ability to beat any team in the world.”
