ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra) will conduct second hearing today into notices served to Geo and Jang Group for allegations against ISI after attack on journalist Hamid Mir, ARY News reported.
Geo TV had launched its diatribe against ISI after gunmen attack on Hamid Mir in Karachi the other day. Following the episode, the Defence Ministry had recommended Pemra to suspend license of Geo TV and first hearing into the case was conducted on May 6.
The case was adjourned till May 9. The investigation committee formed by Pemra will furnish its recommendation today during the hearing.
