PESHAWAR: Two female nurses have been suspended for scuffling at emergency ward of Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar on Tuesday, ARY News reported.

According to details, two nurses, Shams-un-Nisa and Fozia, started brawling over a petty issue while performing duties at the emergency ward. The nurses shoved, punched and kicked each other.

People looking after patients at the hospital came to pacify them, after security officials failed to make peace between them.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Secretary Health Dr Farooq Jameel took notice of the incident and suspended both of them from their services.

Farooq Jameel has sought a detailed report from Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar Director Khalid Khan, who has formed a three-member committee for inquiry.
