NY Times story on Pakistan's nuclear weapons in contrast with US stance: FO
ISLAMABAD: Foreign Office (FO) of Pakistan, responding to a recent story published in New York Times about future threats to Pakistan's nuclear weapons, has said that Pakistan abides by all the rules of International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) – ARY News reports.
FO Spokesperson, Tasneem Aslam said that Pakistan has got an exceptional security record of its nuclear power plants.
She criticized that the story is published at a time, when strategic talks between Pakistan and the United States are underway.
Tasneem mentioned that the US leadership expresses satisfaction over the security of Pakistan's nuclear weapons and labeled the news to be in contrast with the stance of US authorities on Pakistan.
