KARACHI: Sindh Information Minister, Sherjeel Inam Memon has revealed that weapons recovered from the arrested militants were used in the killing of Sunni and Shia scholars, ARY News reported.
While addressing a press conference in Karachi on Wednesday, Sherjeel Memon said that similar sort of gang were involved in the assassination of scholars belonging to both sects (Sunni and Shia).
The Minister appealed Chief Justice of Sindh High Court to take action to wind up the pending cases. He said that head money will be assigned to the proclaimed offenders. He further said that Sindh government will give bullet proof helmets and jackets to Police.
Sherjeel Memon said that released criminal of former chief minister Ghulam Arbab Rahim’s era will be arrested soon and treacherous criminals will be shifted to other jails.
