OGRA recommends Rs 1.75 decrease in petrol prices
ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority on Friday forwarded the summary to the government, recommending the decrease of mere Rs 1.72 in prices of petrol, ARY News reported.
The benefit of dollar depreciation is unlikely to be transferred to consumers as the OGRA recommended negligible decrease in the petroleum prices. OGRA submitted its summary to the Petorleum Ministry in this regard.
According to the summary, it is proposed to slash petrol rates by Rs 1.72, high octane Rs 4.66, kerosene oil Rs 5.61, high speed diesel Rs 2.90 while Rs 5 in the light speed diesel.
