ISLAMABAD: US Ambassador to Pakistan Richard G. Olson called on Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan in Islamabad on Wednesday, ARY News reported.
During the meeting Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said Pakistan enjoys fine relations with United States in all sectors and chances are bright that these relations will strengthen further with the passage of time.
The Interior Minister appealed for greater transparency in Pak-US relations. He said Pakistani people must see the interests of their country being protected at every step.
Meanwhile, US Ambassador said Pakistan has an internationally recognized important role in the post-2014 scenario in the region. He further said that US is conscious of Pakistan’s concerns and will address them.
Richard Olson stressed to maintain long lasting Pak-US relation in order to meet up the emerging challenges for region.
