There is a lot of speculation surrounding Karan Johar's ambitious project Shuddhi. The filmmaker initially wanted to cast the dream pair of Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor.
The two actors who were allegedly linked, had not worked together since long.
And just when fans were getting excited about the lead pair, Hrithik and Kareena dropped out of the film.
According to a report, around 10 days ago, Karan Johar met Salman Khan at his Bandra residence, the duo had a meeting over the script of Shuddhi and they departed on a positive note.

A source stated in a report that Karan Johar is already making a film with Rohit Shetty and that Salman is being considered for the project. While no confirmation comes from either ends, the buzz states Karan Johar is planning to cast Salman in Shuddhi.

Rumours of differences reached its peak when Shah Rukh Khan did not appear on KJo's chat show. SRK used to be a regular on Karan's Koffee couch, but last season he gave it a miss. One of the reasons explored was that Salman was a guest on the show.
