Operation not needed in Punjab if NAP implemented: Qureshi

THARPARKAR: Vice Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that there would have been no need for an operation in Punjab if National Action Plan (NAP) was implemented, ARY News reported.

He was addressing a public meeting at Chhachhro in Tharparkar district.

The PTI leader claimed that the rulers have failed to implement the national action plan against terrorists in the past two years.

He also stated that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif did not fulfill his promise of a grant of billions of rupees to deal with the drought situation in Thar.

It should be noted that PTI Chairman Imran Khan, condemning the Lahore explosion on Thursday, called for a nationwide operation against terrorists.
