KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) chief Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui on Monday said that his party is still Karachi’s biggest political reality and is in position to inflict defeat upon all its opponents, ARY News reported.
Addressing an election rally in Liaquatabad area, the MQM-P chief claimed that if given chance MQM-P can not only turn Karachi into a better city but can turn around the fate of the whole country.
Siddiqui maintained that the party received permission to stage this last rally just 10 hours ago but still managed to gather a huge crowd “which shows its popularity hasn’t declined”.
MQM-P’s senior leader Farooq Sattar too spoke on the occassion and said that the election contest is “not about how many seats MQM can win but by what margin it defeats its opponents”.
Amir Khan, Faisal Sabzwari and a number of other MQM-P leaders also spoke on the occasion.
