Opposition to face public wrath if retreats from Panamagate ToRs: Imran
“Why is the government reluctant from Panama Leaks investigation? Unprecedentedly, whole the nation is demanding accountability of powerful person,” he said while talking to newspaper editors in Islamabad.
He said the opposition would become target of public wrath, if retreated from Terms of Reference formed by the opposition parties for Panama Leaks investigation.
The PTI chairman said Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) planned to accumulate wealth and flee off the country. The ruling party saved money from human development and lavished on big projects.
He accused PML-N of bringing forth uncountable ways of elections rigging saying that only 40, 000 votes out of 150, 000 votes could be verified in NA-110 constituency. He said 25 million ballots were missing in the previous elections.
“Whatever happens on the day of polling, we cannot call it democracy. The world is unaware of even imagination of polling agent, because they hold transparent elections,” he said.
Imran Khan said judicial commission had pointed out 44 errors and not a single of them was addressed. He said transparency could be possible through punishing violators of law rather than bringing reformations.
He also said N-league has been restricted to Punjab, while the PTI was learning and taking the best measures for development of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He blamed that behavior of the prime minister was weakening the democracy.
