KARACHI: The orders for restoring ARY News transmission has been issued, said secretary Information and Broadcasting while speaking to ARY News on Monday.
Dr. Nazeer Saeed, Secretary Information and Broadcasting made this revelation in talk with ARY News correspondent outside parliament house today.
He said a formal announcement to this effect will be made this evening. The decision to lift suspension of ARY News license is taken following orders from the Sigh High Court, he added.
He said Pakistan Electronic Media and Regulatory Media Authority (Pemra) had been directed to restore transmission of ARY News, wherever it is suspended.
The cable operators shutting ARY News transmission will be dealt as per law, he added.
It may be noted here that the SHC had granted another stay to ARY News against its license suspension till July 7.
