FAISALABAD: An orphan child-maid on Tuesday narrated to police how lady of the house tortured her, ARY News reported.
While she was interviewed by ARY News, the victim, Samiyya was bearing torture marks from head to toe and her face and feet were swollen while she visited District Headquarters Hospital Faisalabad along her grand-mother.
She is a child-maid at the house of a property dealer in Civil Lines area of Faisalabad. A case has been registered in a local police station against the culprit.
Recounting how lady of the house tortured her, the underage girl said the lady would badly beat her with anything she would get hold on. She would not tell her grand-mother (the only guardian) about that, she added.
“The baji (lady) thrashed me and expelled me from her house (recently),” she said.
A medical report has confirmed the marks are from torture.
