A report issued by Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) on Wednesday read that Rangers conducted 5795 operations across Karachi, during which 10,353 suspects were arrested out of which 4995 were handed over to police.
Paramilitary personnel seized over 7000 illegal arms of different kinds and more than three lac live rounds from arrested suspects.
On the whole, 364 terrorists met their fate in 224 encounters with Rangers.
During the operation which started on September 5, 2013, Rangers apprehended 826 terrorists, 334 target killers and 26 extortionists.
Moreover, 82 kidnappers were arrested and 49 hostages were freed who were held captive.
