PAF bombing kills 27 terrorists

PESHAWAR: At least 27 terrorists were slain when jet fighters of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) pounded suspected militant hideouts in Tehsil Shawal of North Waziristan, ARY News reports.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), PAF fighters bombed terrorist hideouts in Shawal Tehsil in North Waziristan on late Sunday night due to which 15 militants were killed.

Six militant hideouts were also destroyed in the process.

On the other hand, the curfew, enforced in the area, has rolled on to the fourth day.

The government of Pakistan had announced a full fledged military operation in North Waziristan by the name of “Zarb-e-Azb” on Sunday evening.

Defence Minister of Pakistan Khawaja Muhammad Asif had said that the operation will continue till it reaches to a logical conclusion and every terrorist is killed.

He had also said that the government had tried to solve the issue via negotiation process but the peace process was violated several times.
