JHANG: A Mirage jet of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) crashed near Jhang on Tuesday morning, a PAF spokesperson said in a statement.
The PAF aircraft crashed near Athara Hazari area while on “routine operation training”.
The pilot was safely ejected from the jet and no loss of life was reported on ground, according to the airforce statement.
The airheadquarters have formed an inquiry board to investigate the cause of the crash, statement added.
In April, an Army-owned Mushshak aircraft experiencing a ‘technical failure’ crashed into a tree near Jhelum.
