Pak-Army troops seize 3 IED factories, suicide training camp

MIRANSHAH: Pakistan Army is continuously advancing against the militants in the operation Zarb-e-Azb in North Waziristan, while the Defence Minister, Khwaja Asif has vowed that terrorists will be eliminated from all over the country – ARY News reports.

According to details, Pak-Army troops have been successfully advancing against the militants in North Waziristan. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) told that the Pakistan Army soldiers seized three factories used for preparing improvised explosive devices (IEDs), while a huge quantity of explosive material was also recovered during the search operation on Thursday.

It was further said that the military troops in today’s operation retrieved several anti-tank mines and a suicide training center established by militants.

Security forces also recovered 6 furnished IEDs attached to four different computers, from a local hotel.

The ISPR further elaborated that several militant hideouts were also destroyed during the ground operation by forces.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Defence, Khwaja Muhammad Asif expressed his determination that the evil of terrorism shall be eradicated from the state.

He said that the operation Zarb-e-Azb will secure and strengthen Pakistan.
