Pakistan-India series to begin on Dec 15: reports

According to Indian media reports, Shukla’s statement comes after the Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif gave Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) the go-ahead for the Pak-Ind series.

The series will comprise three one-day internationals and two Twenty20s.

The PCB had sent the request to the PM for consideration and he had approved it.

Pakistan had insisted India to come to the UAE for the home series. But India refused despite signing the Memorandum of Understanding to this effect a few months ago.

After a series of deliberations, the Board of Cricket Control of India (BCCI) and the PCB have reportedly agreed on Sri Lanka as possible venue.
