ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Navy (PN) on Monday promoted four rear admirals on the position of vice admiral, the spokesperson of the PN said.
According to details, the promoted officers include, Vice Admiral Athar Mukhtar, Vice Admiral Muhammad Fayyaz Jilani, Vice Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niyazi and Vice Admiral Asif Khaliq.
The spokesperson said, all the flag officers posses vast experience of serving on several posts in Pakistan Navy.
Vice Admiral Muhammad Fayyaz Jilani and Vice Admiral Athar Mukhtar was commissioned in 1984 into Pakistan Navy’s operation branch. Both the officers graduated from of Pakistan Navy War College and National Defence University, Islamabad.
