Pakistan to sell 52 Super Mushshak aircraft to Turkey

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Turkey have signed three agreements to transform existing collaboration in the field of defence industry into a strategic partnership. Pakistan will provide 52 Super Mushshak aircraft to Turkey according to the agreement.

These agreements were signed in Istanbul in the presence of Minister for Defence Production Rana Tanveer Hussain and Turkish Minister for National Defence Fikri Isik on the sidelines of 13th International Defence Industry Fair 2017.

Under the agreements, Pakistan will sell fifty-two Super Mushshak trainer aircraft to Turkey. The two countries signed a Letter of Intent on the four corvettes project.

The third document called for greater collaboration between the two countries in the field of aviation.

Rana Tanveer Hussain said closer mutual collaboration between Pakistan and Turkey will help realise the full potential of the defence industries of both countries.

Turkish Defence Minister said Pakistan is a true friend and strategic partner of Turkey and these agreements will further intensify bilateral collaboration in the field of defence industry.
