Pakistan announce squad for ODI series against West Indies

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) in a press release stated that chief selector Inzamam-ul-Haq, in consultation with the National Selection Committee, had finalised the 16 member ODI Team for the three matches against West Indies .

“While picking the squad, the team management and skipper were consulted and all concerned gave their consent in this regard,” PCB stated.

Umar Akmal and Asad Shafiq will be making their comeback in the one-day squad. Azhar Ali has been retained as Captain, while Sarfaraz Ahmed will be the vice-captain of the team.

The first and second match between Pakistan and West Indies will be played at Sharjah on 30th September and 2nd October, while the third and final match will be contested at Abu Dhabi on 5th October.

Pakistan (squad): Azhar Ali (captain), Sharjeel Khan, Babar Azam, Asad Shafiq, Shoaib Malik, Sarfraz Ahmed, Umar Akmal, Mohammad Rizwan, Mohammad Nawaz, Imad Wasim, Yasir Shah, Rahat Ali, Mohammad Amir, Wahab Riaz, Hasan Ali and Sohail Khan.
