ISLAMABAD: Fearing a possible terrorist attack in Islamabad, Pakistan Army has been called in for taking up the security of the federal capital from today – ARY News reports.
According to details, Pakistan Army was called in to take charge of the security of the federal capital, upon the request of the district administration.
It was also told that two companies of the Pakistan Army will take charge of the security of Islamabad.
Sources told that authorities had been fearing of a possible terrorist attack on Islamabad, since the June 9 deadly attack on Karachi airport and for this purpose, military was called in to ensure the security of the federal capital.
